For thirty-four years, London Bridge has been hosting the βKids Helping Kidsβ annual walkathon to raise money for ChildCan and Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario."Kids Helping Kids" is hosted by all 16 London Bridge Early Childhood Learning Centres. It was born as a result of two experiences. The first was a London Bridge family receiving a childhood cancer diagnosis; the second was Educators brainstorming with children on ways to help support this family. The walkathon itself was a simple, thoughtful idea that lives on. Children collect donations to help fight against a devastating disease, and over the years thousands of dollars have been raised for Childcan and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario.Classrooms will be walking on Wednesday, September 24 (with a rain date of September 25th) and donations will be collected online.
