Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, for the exciting second annual Marathons for Mental Health 5k/10k Race in beautiful London, Middlesex! This vibrant event aims to raise crucial funds for the #IVEGOTYOURBACK911 campaign, dedicated to supporting first responder mental health initiatives across the nation. Participants can choose between a 5k or a 10k distance, both starting at 9:00 AM at Gibbons Park.
The race will take place along the scenic Thames Valley Parkway, providing a perfect backdrop for runners and walkers alike. With 60% of registration fees going directly to the cause, every step you take helps make a difference. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on their favorite runners at several spots along the course, creating an uplifting atmosphere for all involved. Don’t forget to pick up your bib between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM on race day and grab your race shirt (available for early registrants). Rain or shine, come out and enjoy a day filled with camaraderie, exercise, and community spirit while supporting mental health initiatives!

Marathons for Mental Health 5k/10k RaceMay 24, 2025The second annual Marathons for Mental Health race will be held on May 24, 2025!! The Marathons for Mental Health team is hosting a race to raise funds for our fundraiser, which will donate to #IVEGOTYOURBACK911 at the end of the running season. This year, there will be a 5k and 10k distance.
#IVEGOTYOURBACK911 is a campaign that donates to many organisations nationwide whose sole focus is first responder mental health initiatives. We are looking for runners and walkers looking to run/walk for a great cause!60% of registration fees will be donated to #IVEGOTYOURBACK911. The other 40% will be used to enhance the race experience this year.
Race Details
The race will be at Gibbons Park in London, ON on May 24, 2025. The event is rain or shine, so please be prepared for the weather. The race will be on the Thames Valley Parkway (TVP), which is an asphalt path. The TVP will still be open to the public on race day, so stay to the right on the path unless passing others.
10km Start Time: 0900H5km Start Time: 0900HSpectators
The park and course route will have many spots for spectators to see the runners, so bring your cheer crew to motivate you to the finish line. Bib Pickup
Bib pickup will be on race day (May 24, 2025) from 0800H - 0830H.
Parking
There will be limited parking at the Gibbons Park parking lots. Nearby roads can be used for parking, but please obey the parking signs posted by the City of London. The event is not responsible for any enforcement tickets given to personal cars. Timing
Due to low participant count, we cannot provide chip timing this year. We will be timing the race with Webscorer this year and look forward to adding chip timing to the race next year. Course
The course will be a 5km loop that the 10km runners will do twice. For more information, click the course tab. Water Stations
There will be a water station at the start/finish and the 2.5 km mark. Please feel free to carry more with you if you need to. Washrooms
There will be washrooms available at Gibbons ParkRace ShirtsAll participants will receive a race shirt. Due to production time, participants who register after May 12, 2025, will not have their shirt on race day and will receive it in the mail after race day.
Refunds Refunds will be given if the event gets cancelled due to low participant count or an extreme weather event. Refunds will not be given to participants if they are unable to attend the race if it is scheduled. Participants will be contacted on race day if it needs to be rescheduled or refunded due to an extreme weather event. Event Page
