To make your race day experience even more enjoyable, a Jet Boat shuttle service from Halifax and Dartmouth waterfront will be available at discounted rates, included in your registration. This year, the race route has been expanded, enhancing the challenge while remaining approachable for everyone. As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we encourage all participants to bring their own drinking containers for the aid stations. After crossing the finish line, join us for a lively post-race social on the island, complete with delicious goodies, prizes, and a BBQ. Plus, we are proud to support Halifax Search & Rescue and the Friends of McNabs Island with donations from the event. Our second race in our 2025 series. Urban Trail Racing is crossing the 'seas' to run Half Marathon Trail Race on McNabs Island! Join us on this island as we race by stone walls of Fort McNabs, past the iconic lighthouse, and along the beach with amazing views of the city.
Race Details:Jet Boat shuttle services from Halifax and Dartmouth waterfront will be provided by our friends at Sea HFX - at discounted rates! Now included in the registration! Expanded route this year will still be very approachable for varied skill levels.We are upping our leave no trace approach by asking all participants to bring drinking containers with them for the aid stations. Onsite medical support will be provided by Halifax Search & Rescue Medical teams.Trail stewards will be onsite to help with directions and our aid stations.Post race social will be on the island with goodies, prizes, and BBQ.As with all of our races we will be supporting Halifax Search & Rescue and the local Friends of McNabs Island through donations.
