I'm a map and compass nerd who is also a land survey technician. I've been teaching map and compass courses since 2005 and have hosted/organized 20-30 orienteering races/adventure races since 2003 (all before trail running became our focus)! I've participated in many adventure races/orienteering races since 1999, including the Eco-Endurance Challenge (every year they hosted it since 2003), a few multi-day adventure races and I've been fortunate enough to be a 6-time participant at the Barkley Marathons....and I was even the provincial orienteering champion at one time! Nerdy eh? I told you so! π-Jodi*no refunds, but if you can't make it, you can sell your spot to someone else.
