Created by three students from Dalhousie University in honor of their teammate Grayson Domingues, who battled cancer, ONE RUN invites participants to celebrate their own “one run” for someone special who has been affected by cancer.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or a family looking to enjoy a day outdoors, we've got something for everyone! Take on the professionally timed 10K race for a competitive challenge or enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our Fun Run (2-3K), perfect for walkers and families. September 7th, 20251RUN is a charity event in support of the QEII Cancer Foundation with funds going to support General Cancer Care, supporting the QEII where they are needed most. Created by three students and members of the Dalhousie Football in support of their teammate, Grayson Domingues, who had been battling cancer, this event invites participants to define their “one run” in honour of someone in their life affected by cancer. Whether you're running in memory of a loved one, in support of someone currently battling cancer, or simply to stand with the community, your reason matters. Held at Shubie Canal Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the scenic route is simply stunning with lakes and canals surrounding you on your way to the finish line. For Competitive Runners - Experience the full race-day atmosphere with our professionally timed 10K, powered by Route541. Ideal for those chasing personal bests or preparing for fall races. For New Runners, Walkers & Families - Our Fun Run (2-3K) brings the same energy with a relaxed pace. A great way to get active while supporting a powerful cause. Wide trails make it perfect for all ages and experience levels. Can't join us in Dartmouth? - Run with us anywhere through our virtual race option, also tracked and supported by Route541. Whether you're running for a loved one, a teammate, or the thousands of Canadians affected by cancer, your participation makes a real difference.
