Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the PSP Southwestern Ontario Virtual Race 2, taking place on Saturday, August 30, 2025! This exciting virtual event invites participants from Hamilton and beyond to challenge themselves in a thrilling 5km, 10km, or 15km race. While the official race day is August 30th, you can complete your run any time between August 30th and September 6th.
Participants will have the chance to win fantastic prizes (stay tuned for announcements!) and will receive an 8-week training plan upon registration to help you prepare and improve your personal best. Join your Unit in the 5km race to compete for the title of the fastest Unit, where the average time of your top three runners will determine the winner. This event is open to all active-duty CAF members and PSP recreation membership holders, promoting camaraderie and teamwork as you run virtually using tracking apps. Join PSP Southwestern Ontario in a 5km, 10km and 15km Race!Race anytime between August 30th and September 6th. Prizes to be won (prize announcements coming soon)!8 week training plan provided upon registration. Work to beat your time from the previous race!Join with your Unit to compete for fastest Unit (5km race only)! Ensure your "Team" during registration is your Unit. The first person to register must create the Team.The Fastest Unit will be determined by the unit with the lowest average time of their top 3 fastest runners in the 5km race. Minimum of 3 runners to register and complete the race on the unit team to be eligible.Open to all active-duty CAF members and PSP rec membership holders. Participants will run races virtually on run tracking apps. We encourage you to run with your unit and/or fellow members to increase teamwork and camaraderie.Recommended that you sign up with civilian email, not DWAN. Assurez-vous que votre « équipe » lors de l'inscription est votre unité. La première personne à s'inscrire doit créer l'équipe.L'unité la plus rapide sera déterminée par l'unité ayant la moyenne la plus basse de ses 3 coureurs les plus rapides dans la course de 5 km. Un minimum de 3 coureurs doit s'inscrire et terminer la course au sein de l'équipe de l'unité pour être éligible.Ouvert à tous les membres des FAC en service actif et aux détenteurs d'une carte de membre des PSP.Les participants courront les courses virtuellement sur des applications de suivi de course. Nous vous encourageons à courir avec votre unité et/ou d'autres membres pour renforcer le travail d'équipe et la camaraderie.Il est recommandé de s'inscrire par courriel civil, et non par DWAN.
