Join us for the Second Annual Rosy Rhubarb Walk and Run on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the picturesque town of Southwold, Elgin! This vibrant community event invites participants of all ages to take part in a day of fun, fitness, and camaraderie. Choose from exciting race options including a 5km run or walk, a challenging 10km run, or let the kids join in the fun with a 1km Kids Fun Run designed for those 12 and under.
The day kicks off bright and early with registration and bib pick-up from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, followed by a warm-up session to get everyone ready for the races. The 10km runners will set off at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5km runners and walkers at 9:10 AM. The Kids Fun Run will commence once the 5km and 10km events have concluded. Every participant will receive a finisher medal to celebrate their achievements. Don’t forget to secure your race shirt by May 18th to wear with pride on race day! The Fingal/Shedden Optimist is hosting their Second Annual Rosy Rhubarb Walk and/or Run on Sunday June 8, 2025, in celebration and support of events in our community. You can register for the 5km Run or Walk or you can register for the 10km run. Kids 12 and under can register for the 1km Fun Run!!
