Get ready for an exciting day of community spirit and fitness at the RUN WITH RESPONDERS 5K, taking place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in beautiful Windsor, Essex! This inclusive event invites everyone—no need to be a first responder—to participate in a fun-filled day of running and walking. The main event features a 5K run or walk along the scenic Riverfront Trail, with a special CKLW AM800m Kid's Run and Kid's Dash for the little ones, ensuring that the whole family can join in on the action.
Starting and finishing at the Windsor Firefighters Monument, participants will enjoy a new route that takes them past iconic landmarks like Dieppe Park and the Windsor Sculpture Park, all while honoring local first responders with displays of emergency vehicles along the course. The first 400 registrations will be rewarded with a Finisher's Medal and a limited edition t-shirt, while age group awards and the Chief's Challenge Trophy for first responder teams add an extra layer of excitement.

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A FIRST RESPONDER TO PARTICIPATE! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! REGISTRATION CLOSES ONLINE AT 6PM ON THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025 Mandatory Race Packet Pickup and In Person Registration (Cash Only) at The Running Factory (5480 Wyandotte St. East) from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 from 10:00am-5:00pm. Race Day Registration (Cash Only) opens at 7:30am on Sunday, July 27 for late packet pickup and last minute sign-ups!START and FINISH at the Windsor Firefighters Monument at the Windsor Civic Terrace. Distances include a 5K Run or Walk, CKLW AM800m Kid's Run and Kid's Dash. NEW ROUTE! Run or walk on the beautiful Riverfront Trail west through Dieppe Park, past the Legacy Beacon and Streetcar No. 351, through the Windsor Sculpture Park, then returning back to the Firefighters Monument to FINISH. The course will feature a number of Police, Fire, Essex-Windsor EMS and CBSA vehicles off to the side in honour of all local first responders.
