Participants can choose from a scenic 5K run or walk, an engaging CKLW AM800m Kid's Run, and a delightful Kid's Dash. The race kicks off and concludes at the iconic Windsor Firefighters Monument, taking you along the beautiful Riverfront Trail, through Dieppe Park, and past stunning local landmarks like the Legacy Beacon and the Windsor Sculpture Park.
Registration is open until 6 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, with in-person registration available at The Running Factory on July 25 and 26. Race day registration begins at 7:30 AM for last-minute sign-ups! The first 400 registrants will receive a special Finishers Medal and a limited edition t-shirt. Celebrate local heroes with a chance to win exciting awards and support great causes such as the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A FIRST RESPONDER TO PARTICIPATE! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! REGISTRATION CLOSES ONLINE AT 6PM ON THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025 Mandatory Race Packet Pickup and In Person Registration at The Running Factory (5480 Wyandotte St. East) from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 from 10:00am-5:00pm. Race Day Registration opens at 7:30am on Sunday, July 27 for late packet pickup and last minute sign-ups!START and FINISH at the Windsor Firefighters Monument at the Windsor Civic Terrace. Distances include a 5K Run or Walk, CKLW AM800m Kid's Run and Kid's Dash. NEW ROUTE! Run or walk on the beautiful Riverfront Trail west through Dieppe Park, past the Legacy Beacon and Streetcar No. 351, through the Windsor Sculpture Park, then returning back to the Firefighters Monument to FINISH. The course will feature a number of Police, Fire, Essex-Windsor EMS and CBSA vehicles off to the side in honour of all local first responders.
