Organiser's Description
Come test yourself on a hilly 5k course with a mix of road and trails. New for 2025! FREE 1KM KIDS RACE
Starting amongst the trees of Queen's Park, the 2.5km loop starts on a fast downhill where you'll zoom past the heritage homes of Queen's Park. You'll take the winding path through the park, with a mix of ups and downs. Be prepared for the short, steep hill at the 2k (and 4.5k) mark, where we will have a cheering section to keep your spirits high. Enter back into the woodland area to finish the first loop and hit the halfway point. One more loop and you're done!
Once you've made it, you'll be rewarded with a unique finishers medal. There will be a beer garden for post-run festivities!
S&O Beer Run supports KidSport New West. They do a fantastic job at helping children participate in sports in our local community by providing grants to help cover the costs of registration fees for all kids aged 18 and under in New West to be able to play a season of sport.

We recognise and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
