Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the 3rd annual Stouffville Main Street 5K, taking place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in the charming Whitchurch-Stouffville, York. Hosted by the Town of Stouffville, this vibrant event welcomes both competitive runners and recreational walkers, along with their families, for a celebration of community spirit and health. The day kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with the Runners Village opening, followed by opening remarks at 8:00 a.m., and the Main Street 5K race starting at 8:30 a.m. Not to mention, there’s a special Kids 1K Dash starting at 10:00 a.m.!
This year, participants in the Main Street 5K will enjoy a wave start system, allowing for a more organized and enjoyable experience as they cross the Start/Finish line. Runners, walkers, and strollers are all encouraged to join in, while dogs are welcome in the Runners Village. In addition to the race, participants are encouraged to fundraise for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, with a suggested minimum of $100 for adults

10:00 am - Kids 1K Dash Starts*NEW for 2025 our Main Street 5K participants will start in waves. Event Timing is activated only when each participant crosses the Start/Finish line. During registration you will be asked to select your anticipated 5K completion time:🔴 Red: 25 mins or less (Competitive) 🟡 Yellow: 25-35 mins (Casual) 🔵 Blue: 35-45 mins (Joggers) 🟢 Green: 45+ mins (Walkers) Runners, walkers, and strollers allowed. Please no bicycles, rollerblades or scooters. Dogs are welcome in the runner's village only, however please keep them on the leash and off the course.FUNDRAISINGWhile fundraising is not mandatory, it is certainly encouraged. The suggested fundraising minimum is $100.00 per adult and $50.00 per child. While your registration fee for the event helps to cover the various event costs, any fundraising dollars go directly to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20.00 will receive a charitable tax receipt from the Foundation.Learn more about the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and how your donations make a difference.
