New for this year, participants will start in waves based on their anticipated completion times, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Children can also join in the fun with the Kids 1K Dash, which begins at 10:00 AM. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just looking to enjoy a day out with family and friends, this event has something for everyone. Dogs are welcome in the Runners Village, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the fun! While fundraising for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Join us for a fantastic day of fitness, community, and support for a great cause!

8:30am - Main Street 5K Starts
10:00am - Kids 1K Dash Starts*NEW for 2025 our Main Street 5K participants will start in waves. Event Timing start and finishes only when the participant crosses the start/finish line.
During registration you will be asked to select your anticipated 5K completion time:🔴 Red: 25 mins or less (Competitive) 🟡 Yellow: 25-35 mins (Casual) 🔵 Blue: 35-45 mins (Joggers) 🟢 Green: 45+ mins (Walkers) Runners, walkers, and strollers allowed. Please no bicycles, rollerblades or scooters. Dogs are welcome in the runner's village only, however please keep them on the leash and off the course.FUNDRAISINGWhile fundraising is not mandatory, it is certainly encouraged and the suggested fundraising minimum is $100 per adult and $50 per child. While your registration fee for the event helps to cover the various event costs from road closures to post-race nourishment and logistics staff, any fundraising dollars go directly to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt from the Foundation.SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIESInterested in becoming a partner on the event?
