Get ready for an exhilarating day of trail running at the Vancouver Island Trail Running Series in Port Alberni on Saturday, June 6, 2026! Nestled in the stunning Alberni-Clayoquot region, this event promises to showcase some of the most breathtaking and diverse trail networks in Western Canada. Runners of all levels will love the technical, fast, and flowy trails that Port Alberni has to offer.
Participants can choose from two thrilling race distances: the Long Course, approximately 22 kilometers with a vertical gain of 530 meters, or the Short Course, roughly 10 kilometers with a vertical gain of 250 meters. The event kicks off with the Kids Run at 10:15 AM, followed by the Long Course at 10:30 AM and the Short Course at 11:00 AM. Don't miss out on the fantastic post-race BBQ at EJ Dunn Elementary School, where you can celebrate your achievements with fellow runners. Join us for an unforgettable day filled with adventure, camaraderie, and stunning scenery!
