This exciting event is a highlight of the Canada Pride and Vancouver Pride festivities, and it's set to be the largest and most vibrant gathering yet. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to choose between two exhilarating race distances: the scenic 5K and the exhilarating 10K.
The 10K route is Canada’s most beautiful certified course, looping around the picturesque Stanley Park seawall, while the 5K course offers a delightful experience for both runners and walkers. With registration priced at just $42, early registrants will also receive a complimentary Brooks technical tee featuring the art of renowned pop artist Joe Average. Don't miss out on the pre-race package pickup on July 11th and 12th at Forerunners on Main, and be part of the fun with a vibrant community atmosphere, exciting surprises, and a heartfelt welcome ceremony starting at 8:15 a.m. on race day! 2025 Vancouver Pride Run & Walk is on Sunday, July 13th. 🏳️🌈 Held in beautiful Stanley Park during the Canada Pride and Vancouver Pride celebrations, this year's run/walk/celebration is the largest and most epic ever! All ages and abilities are welcome, and we can't wait to see you all at the start line. 🏳️🌈We've kept prices low at $42 for your choice of the 5K and 10K courses. This year, we are delighted to offer early registrants a FREE Brooks technical tee featuring the art and commemorating the life of pop artist Joe Average. We express our appreciation to Joe's family and the generous sponsorship of Brooks Running for making this possible.Many thanks to our other sponsors, Brooks Running, Forerunners on Main, Innovative Fitness, Organika, 2 Guys With Knives, Metalab, and Gummy Gainz. Thank you to the City of Vancouver for your support!Pride Run & Walk features Canada's most beautiful 10k running course, a BC Athletics-certified qualifying race distance. This speedy and almost entirely flat route loops around the Stanley Park seawall, while the 5k course for runners and walkers generally follows the 10k route towards Coal Harbour and HMCS Discovery before returning to the 5/10k finish line in Ceperly field near 2nd Beach in Stanley Park.Pride Run & Walk is your community event, created by community volunteers for our community. Changes we made in 2024 were well-received, including a slightly earlier start time and tighter post-race schedule to help beat the summer heat.Pre-race package pickup is Friday, July 11th, and Saturday, July 12th, at Forerunners on Main (at 23rd Avenue). See Frequently Asked Questions for all the details. On race day, our program starts at 8:00 a.m., the official welcome ceremony at 8:15 a.m., and the first runners will set off from the starting line at 8:35 a.m. sharp. We've got fun surprises in store for you before, during and after the race!Pride Run & Walk is hosted by Vancouver Frontrunners, celebrating its 42nd year of providing a safe and friendly environment for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, their friends, and allies to enjoy running and walking.
