The HFD RUN for Wishes is back for our 25th annual run! The scenic route takes you over and along the Assiniboine River and through residential South Headingley. The run starts and finishes at the Headingley Fire Department and is followed by an awards ceremony and approximately 50 draw prizes.On site we will have Fire & Life Safety trailer, Multiple bouncers, 4SquareFOTO booth, Refreshments along with Hot dogs served up by BIG MUR and the CREWWe will have dozens of post race raffles which are all included with any of our race day registration options.SCHOOL GROUP REGISTRATION IS NOW AVAILABLE: Contact our School Group Coordinator at [email protected] to register a school group. Your school will receive a registration discount.For our youth registrants we have awards for top 3 placings in both boys and girls divisions for grades 3-12!APHA / SJAMHA TEAM REGISTRATION IS NOW AVAILABLE: Contact our Hockey Team Coordinator at [email protected] to register your hockey team. Your team will receive a discount on your team registration!Headingley Fire Department held their first Run for Wishes in May of 2001. The number of participants were small and we had just a few sponsors. Over the past 25 years, our run has evolved and grown. We now host hundreds of runners and walkers and are now supported by over 40 sponsors.Children's Rehabilitation Foundation and the Westgrove Family Resource Centre are the 2 main benefactors of this years event. Both organizations strive to make the lives of children safer, better and happier.This year for the first time we are partnering with the True North Youth Foundation to help provide at risk youth in the Westgrove area much needed recreation opportunities.All Run participants will receive a race package consisting of HFD race t-shirt, race program, coupons, 2025 Custom race bib, Raffle number for post race draws, chip timer.Deadline to be listed in this years comparative race program is MAY 1st.Deadline for registration to guarantee selected T-shirt size May 1st*************We cannot guarantee entry into race program/ desired t-shirt size if registration occurs after May 1st**********We will have many updates coming out in the next 4 weeks!Remember your race bib # corresponds with our post race raffles ***For Youth RUNNING CLUBS and Assiniboine Park Hockey Association Youth we will have exciting promotions coming your way in the coming days***Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for all that is new with our event!Instagram: @headingleyrunhfd
