Get ready for an unforgettable outdoor experience at the Lily Lake Lollygag Trail Run 2025, happening on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, in the scenic Digby Municipal District of Digby. This exciting event features two fantastic race distances: a 6(ish) KM and a 12(ish) KM run, both winding through the breathtaking Vantassel Lake trail system. Participants will be treated to stunning views of peaceful lake fronts and lush forests as they make their way to the summit.
The Lollygag Trail Run is proud to be a "Run Green" event, promoting sustainability while providing a fun-filled day for all ages. Children aged 12 and under can join in the fun with races that are free or by a freewill offering on the day of the event, featuring 1, 2, or 3 km loops! Don't forget, kids under 5 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration opens at 9:00 AM, with the children's races kicking off at 9:30 AM, followed by the main races starting around 10:30 AM. While parking is limited, participants are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy this wonderful day in nature!

Organiser's Description
6(ish) KM and 12(ish) KM run through the beautiful Vantassel Lake trail system passing through peaceful lake frontage and forest before ascending to the summit. The Lollygag is a "Run Green" Event! Last year we lowered the registration fee to forgo the t-shirt and this will remain the same for 2025! The kids 12 and under races are back by popular demand! Kids race FREE or by freewill offering day of (1, 2 or 3 km loop!) Please note that participants under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.Registration 9:00 am; Children's race starts at 9:30 am; 6 and 12 km run and hike race will start at approximately 10:30 am.Limited parking is available on site and along the road. Please use caution. Port a potty washroom facility is available on site.
