Get ready for an unforgettable day of trail running at the Run Ridge Run event, taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the stunning Port Moody area of Metro Vancouver! This exhilarating race invites participants to choose between two challenging distances: a scenic 13km course that traces the picturesque Buntzen Ridge Trail around Sasamat Lake, or a more demanding 25km route that pushes runners to conquer the Diez Vistas Ridge before winding back along Buntzen Lake. Both courses promise breathtaking views and the technical challenges that trail runners crave.

The event kicks off and concludes at White Pine Beach, Sasamat Lake, creating a perfect backdrop for this outdoor adventure. Registration is set to close at 575 participants, and it's not just about the raceβ€”$5 from every registration goes to support Coquitlam Search & Rescue, with additional donations encouraged. Plus, in a fantastic initiative, one tree will be planted for every registration in partnership with a Fraser Valley Indigenous Lands rehabilitation project. Salomon Coast Mountain Trail Running (CMTR) hosts quality, challenging, professionally-run trail events in world class destinations around Vancouver's North Shore and the Sea to Sky Corridor.Run Ridge RunBoth distances offer challenging climbs, descents and technicality that runners love from CMTR races. The 13km course will skirt around Sasamat Lake on the Buntzen Ridge Trail and glimpse Buntzen Lake while the 25km course will continue on to attack the Diez Vistas Ridge before following Buntzen Lake back to the finish.Start and finish is located at White Pine Beach, Sasamat Lake.Registration closes at 575 participants.$5 from every registration goes to support Coquitlam Search & Rescue.
