The Mike Currie Memorial

Join us on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, for the exciting Mike Currie Memorial event in Chatham-Kent! This annual celebration has transformed from the Torch Run for Special Olympics into a memorable tribute honoring Mike Currie. Participants can choose from a scenic 5 or 10-kilometer race or walk, or challenge themselves with a timed 30 or 60-kilometer bike ride through the stunning landscapes of Blenheim, Ontario, and its surroundings.

Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of fitness and fun, but all proceeds from this event will directly benefit Special Olympics Ontario, making your participation all the more meaningful. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will also be available, allowing everyone to join in the spirit of the event on their own schedule.
