Organiser's Description

The Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race (MOMAR) is the ultimate weekend challenge, pushing your mind and body to the edge in the rugged forests and shorelines of Vancouver Island. Located in the historic mining town of Cumberland, this adventure race offers world-class single-track mountain bike trails, breathtaking terrain, and ocean views. Completing MOMAR is a test of mental and physical strength, coordination, and endurance. 2026 will mark the 46th edition of the MOMAR in our 26-year history. 1000 racers can choose to compete in one of three races: the 20K Quest–a paddle and trek-only adventure, or the classic 30K Sport and 50K Enduro races, which put your paddling, trekking, and mountain biking skills to the test.
