Olympic Distance Triathlons, also known as Standard Distance Triathlons, consist of a 1500m swim, 40km bike ride, and a 10km run. These events almost always take place outdoors, and in Canada, you’ll find stunning courses along lakesides, rivers, and other beautiful natural settings.

Olympic/Standard Distance Triathlon events are a true test of endurance and skill. Successful training should include practice for all aspects of the race, including transitions, as well as brick sessions (combination training for two disciplines back-to-back).
