The event wraps up on September 11th with a swim at the historic St. Peter's Canal Locks and a final plunge at Pictou's Hector Quay Visitors Marina. To join in the fun, swimmers must be able to complete a distance of 1500 metres in 40 minutes and raise at least $150 in pledges. 2026 Nova Scotia Harbour Swim for The United WayThis fall the Provincial United Way campaign is swimming across the province.From Wednesday, September 9th to Friday, September 11th fearless fundraising swimmers will plunge into harbours across the province where, one stroke at a time, they will engage in harbour hopping, United Way Style!And YOU could be one of them!We are reaching out to swimmers across the province to invite you to celebrate this unique opportunity with us.All you need is two things to qualify:- To be able to swim 1500 metres in 40 minutes- To be able to raise $150 in pledges
