2026 One For The Road Beer Mile

Join Run Calgary and One For The Road Brewing on Saturday, August 22!Spots are limited!The Beer Mile is BACK! Join us for our Third Annual One For The Road Beer Mile on Saturday, August 22! Get ready for some friendly competition. This non-alcoholic beer mile is not your typical race. Participants will each race a mile ( 4 laps around the 400m track), stopping every 400 meters to chug a One For The Road beer.Gather your crew, lace up your running shoes, and prepare for a challenge like no other. There will be a live DJ, snacks, prizes and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow runners.Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind race that combines speed, strategy, and a love for beer. Not into chugging beer and running? Come by and watch! This event promises excitement, good vibes and plenty of laughs.Registration is $10 (plus taxes/fees). All entry fees are non-refundable. Minimum age required to register is 18 as of race day.
How It WorksRegister at the link below.Heats will consist of 10-12 runners.Heats will be assigned based on gender upon check-in on race day.Heats will be communicated to participants at check-in on race day.All heats will be stopwatch timed.Final standings will be determined based on the fastest overall times across all heats, with awards presented to the top three male and female finishers overall.Please note: if we have enough non-binary participants signed up, we will have a dedicated non-binary heat and associated prizing available!Run Crew group prizes will also be up for grabs (biggest crew, best team spirit etc).
