Exciting news for the running community in Calgary! The application window for the 2026 Run Calgary Ambassador Team is now open! On December 22, 2025, passionate and energetic leaders are invited to apply for this fantastic opportunity to inspire and connect with fellow runners in Calgary, Alberta. As an ambassador, you'll embody the spirit of “More Than Run,” fostering community and creating meaningful experiences that go beyond just racing.
Selected ambassadors will receive exclusive perks, including two free entries into the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend, which features various race distances suitable for runners of all levels. You'll also have the chance to participate in another Run Calgary race, receive official ambassador merchandise, and engage with the local running community through social media features and exclusive events. If you're ready to uplift others and share your running journey, apply by December 21, 2025, and join a movement that celebrates connection, inclusivity, and the joy of running!

Applications Now Open!We’re looking for passionate and energetic leaders who show up, inspire others, and genuinely love being part of the growing running community in our city. Our ideal ambassador embodies our “More Than Run” mantra: knowing that what we create together goes far beyond kilometres, pace times, or race-day results. It’s about community, connection, and building experiences that make Calgary a vibrant and welcoming place to move.Ambassadors should be enthusiastic about engaging with others - both in-person and online. We’re looking for individuals who enjoy creating authentic content, sharing their running journeys, celebrating others’ successes, and sparking conversations that motivate and include. Whether you have a large audience or simply a tight-knit circle, are an eager first-timer or seasoned racer - what matters is your willingness to uplift your community and represent Run Calgary with positivity, inclusivity, and heart.Please ensure to read through all requirements and ensure that you will be able to meet all expectations before applying. Application window closes Sunday, Dec 21, 11:59 pm MT. Minimum age to apply is 18.

What You Need To Do:Be a passionate, energetic and engaged leader who uplifts the running community and champions inclusivity.Share 8 reels/carousel posts in 2026 that are relevant to your training journey, the run community, and our events. Of these 8 posts, 1 is required to be shared in the months of March, April, and May.Participate in the distance of your choice at the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend.Participate in one (1) 2026 Run Calgary race outside the Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend.Attend and assist in hosting one (1) 2026 Run Calgary (non-race) community event (ex. Earth Day Plogging, Beer Mile, Cheer Sign Making etc.).Engage with, reshare, and support the content we share on social media.Must be located within the Greater Calgary Area and have a public Instagram account.
