Join us for the 2026 Sarah Beckett Memorial Run, a heartwarming 5km run and walk taking place on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, in Langford, Capital. This uplifting event honors the memory of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett, who tragically lost her life in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The race will start and finish at the Starlight Stadium plaza, right next to the beautiful Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground.
Participants can look forward to a fantastic experience, complete with a finisher's medal and the option to purchase past technical run shirts and other merchandise. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual event is available, allowing you to run or walk from anywhere while sharing your experience on social media using #runforbeckett. All proceeds from this inspiring event will benefit BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank, making a positive impact on the community. The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a 5km run and walk in honour of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett who was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The 2026 event will take place on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, starting and finishing at the Starlight Stadium plaza area, next to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground. The registration cost will include a finishers medal. There is an option to purchase past technical run shirts and other merchandise during the check out process (additional charges will be added). A virtual event will also be available for those who do not live in the Greater Victoria and West Shore area. You are able to run and walk anywhere then please share a photo on our social media pages using #runforbeckett!For the virtual event:To guarantee that you receive your race package on time and you live

The money raised will go toward two wonderful organizations: BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank. Registration closes online at 10 am (PST) on event day, May 10th, 2026.
