Join us for the 2026 Sarah Beckett Memorial Run on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, in Langford, Capital! This uplifting event honors the memory of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett, who tragically lost her life in the line of duty. Participants can choose to take part in a spirited 5km run or walk, starting and finishing at the beautiful Starlight Stadium plaza, adjacent to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground.
Registration includes a finisher's medal, and for those looking to commemorate the occasion further, past technical run shirts and other merchandise will be available for purchase. If you're not in the Greater Victoria and West Shore area, don’t worry! A virtual event option allows you to participate from anywhere, sharing your experience on social media using #runforbeckett. Proceeds from the event will benefit BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank, making this not just a race, but a chance to give back to the community. Don't miss out—register by April 7th for out-of-area participants or by April 27th for those on Vancouver Island. Let's come together to celebrate, remember, and support a great cause!

The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a 5km run and walk in honour of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett who was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The 2026 event will take place on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, starting and finishing at the Starlight Stadium plaza area, next to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground. The registration cost will include a finishers medal. There is an option to purchase past technical run shirts and other merchandise during the check out process (additional charges will be added). A virtual event will also be available for those who do not live in the Greater Victoria and West Shore area. The money raised will go toward two wonderful organizations: BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank. Registration closes online at 10 am (PST) on event day, May 10th, 2026. Table will be set up in the centre of the mall outside Coast Capital Savings. Sunday, May 10th (Event day!!) - 08:00am to 10:00am (Prior to start of run/walk) - Pickup at Starlight Stadium Virtual Event:Virtual run packages will be mailed out starting in March. Technical shirts and other merchandise (if ordered) will be mailed out separately.
