Join us for the 2026 Women For Women Trail Mix Challenge, a vibrant and inspiring fundraising event taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the beautiful Campbell River, Strathcona. This annual event, now in its 23rd year, invites participants to walk or run either a 5K or 10K distance, all starting together at 9:00 AM.
The Women For Women event has been a cornerstone of community spirit since its inception in 2003, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for women's education and supporting local charities. Proceeds from this year’s challenge will benefit organizations such as the Campbell River Hospice Society and Care-Mongering, continuing the tradition of giving back to the community. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a day filled with camaraderie and support for a great cause. Be sure to register early on Race Roster, and arrive at least 45 minutes before the start to warm up and connect with fellow participants. Let’s come together to empower women and create lasting change!

23rd Annual Saturday SEPTEMBER 12, 2026WALK “ 5k “ —-OR—RUN —- 5K or 10K****NEW***"NO"10KM WALKERS“EVERYONE “STARTS9:00am(So, we all make it back at the same time)The Women For Women originated back in 2003..... a community driven event. It’s energy and purpose was to bring awareness and funds to all kinds of women in education. With it's focus on supporting women in education...scholarships and bursaries were available for entering, continuing and graduation students in all program areas. While education is important, so is women in need, families and non - profit organizations.... The Women For Women event grew with popularity... sharing its wealth, also became a priority. Its charitable and educational causes are Campbell River & North Island Transition Society Women's Resource Centre) in the past Robron/ Continuing Education, Discovery Community College, Babies Best Chance, Forest Circle Society and Foundry were also recipients of the event. The Women For Women Fundraising event continues its giving back. The Campbell River Hospice Society and Care-Mongering are now at the forefront. While Campbell Rivers businesses have been generous over the years...the focus of the event continues to look for sponsorship... Major sponsorship and donations in the past 23 years have been Troy Young REHN Enterprises, Lyn Paterson, Boston Pizza, All in One Party Shop, Tim Hortons, Al Sharpe/Tri Gem Cabinets.***IF YOU HAVENT REGISTERED ON RACEROSTER***No refunds, all registrations confirmed are for non-profit selected.Its all about the cause, not the race!!***Please show up at least 45 min before your start time... to mingle, warmup and register...***ONE START*** 9:00am...for all 5k & 10k runners(no 10k walkers)
