Join us for the Blackburn Fun Run on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, in Ottawa! Choose between our exciting 1K and 2K cross-country routes, which kick off from the Blackburn FunFair fairgrounds, located on the soccer field behind the Blackburn Hamlet Community Centre at 190 Glen Park Dr.
The Kids 1K Fun Run starts at 9:30 AM, followed by the 2K Fun Run at 10:00 AM. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this event welcomes everyone and is a fantastic way to support local charities while having a blast! Don’t worry if you’re bringing little ones along—parents can join the 1K with their children at no extra cost, and strollers are permitted on the course. All registered participants will receive finisher medals, and ribbons will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each event. Plus, enjoy refreshments after the run and stay to explore the fun-filled attractions of the Blackburn FunFair. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable day of community spirit and fitness!
