Canada Day 5th Street Mile

Celebrate Canada Day by joining the vibrant 5th Street Mile on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the beautiful Comox Valley! This exciting event continues a beloved local tradition, inviting participants of all ages to run the scenic parade route along 5th Street, culminating in the picturesque Simms Park. With a focus on fun and community spirit, this family-friendly race offers a fast mile for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.

Make sure to register before the deadline of 9:00 PM on June 30th, as there will be no race day registrations. Bib pick-up will take place on June 30th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at FOVEO Running, with day-of bib pickup starting at 8:30 AM at the Lake Trail Community School parking lot. The race kicks off at 9:30 AM at the corner of 5th Street and Woods Avenue, and while there is no official timing, a finish line clock will display your elapsed time.
