La 7e édition du Défi Everest Orford se déroulera du 25 au 27 septembre 2026 au Mont Orford. Du matin au soir, des équipes de randonneurs accompagneront des personnes ayant une limitation fonctionnelle dans l’ascension du Mont Orford à l’aide d’équipements spécialisés tels que la Joëlette et le fauteuil de randonnée Trackz Mobilité. Le défi? Effectuer, tous ensemble, au moins 19 montées par jour, ce qui correspond au dénivelé du Mont Everest! Cet événement caritatif hors du commun vise à amasser 50 000 $ au profit d'AlterGo et de la Fondation des sports adaptés, deux organismes qui oeuvrent pour le bien-être et l’inclusion des personnes handicapées. Entre collègues, entre amis, en famille ou en solo, le Défi Everest Orford est une occasion idéale de mobilisation, notamment pour les entreprises souhaitant rassembler leurs équipes autour de cette cause essentielle.
