Runners will enjoy well-marked trails and a lively atmosphere, with aid stations offering water, Tailwind, and tasty treats like watermelon and freezies for the 14km participants. Celebrate your achievements with custom medals for the top male and female finishers in both distances, along with a chance to win fantastic draw prizes from local businesses. Don't forget to pick up your race bib starting at 7:00 PM on race night, and be sure to bring your own water bottles as this is a cupless event. Race Description:
Beat the July heat with a night race that starts after sunset.
On the beautiful trails of Batawa, running this 7km/14km course is made to grow your love for the trails and level up your trail running skills!
Terrain & Course Map:
Participants can expect to encounter rocks, roots, stumps and hills. These trails are well marked.
HEADLAMPS/FLASHLIGHTS/WAISTLAMPS ARE MANDATORY.
For safety - NO headphones allowed
Aid Stations & Course Marshals:
There will be water and Tailwind available, watermelon, chips and freezies at halfway point for the 14km participants.
We are a CUPLESS event. Please bring your own waterbottles.
Kit Pick Up:Bib pick up will be available at 7:00pm on race night.
Timing/Awards/Prizes Participants will be manually timed.
!!Bibs must be clearly visible and worn on your front!!Custom medals will be given to the First Place Male and Female in both distances.There are also LOADS of draw prizes to be won donated from local businesses! This includes:Sugarbush Winery, Epic North Coffee, Spafford Health and Adventure, Pyramid Ferments, Stock and Row Cider, Ascension Movement, Match Movement, Picton Tattoo Club, Xscape Fitness, The County Marathon
Refunds/Deferrals/Changes: No refunds or deferrals for any reasons. Changes to your distance can be made by emailing dirtysolestrail@gmail.com. No changes will be made on race day.
Other vital stuff, like porta potties and race swag: A porta potty will be available at the start/finish line.
There will be race medals for all participants.
Race t-shirts will be made for those who register BEFORE JUNE 21ST
