Participants will experience Canada's fastest 5km course, with a slight downhill gradient that allows runners to achieve their seasonal or personal best times—expect to be 45-60 seconds faster than on any other 5km course! Enjoy the scenic, tree-covered route that’s traffic-free, while you compete for custom finisher medals and awards for the top male and female runners across various age categories. The day kicks off with bus transport to the start line starting at 8:45 AM, and post-race, you’ll be treated to delicious hot food and drinks, along with exciting draw prizes. With your donation, we are able to provide safe space for youth to play sports,provide mentorship and create pathways to educationYour one and only chance to smash that seasonal or personal best time on Canada's FASTEST 5km course!!~Please see attached Strava course elevation map, courtesy of Dan McKinnon, a former race winner, who also certified this course.Runners on average are 45-60 seconds faster than any other 5km course!!
LOADS of draw prizesSlightly downhill, tree covered and traffic free the entire 5km. Runners will be bussed to the start line beginning at 8:45am.
Bus to start line- 9:00&930... please take a bottle of water with you. Custom finisher medals to all finishers.Awards to top 3 overall male and female runners and top 3 in 10 year age groups, from 19 & under to 70+.Hot food and drinks after,followed by the awards ceremony.Lots of draw prizes.Chip timing .
This is race #3 in the Hausers Pharmacy Hamilton Running Series with points going 3-2-1 in the age groups and over-all divisions and added at the last race of the year.. Series Schedule
