While the exact course details are yet to be confirmed, participants can expect a vibrant atmosphere enhanced by a new "Runner's Village" featuring free samples, snacks, and plenty of good vibes! Whether you're aiming for a leisurely 5 km stroll or simply want to cheer on your friends, this event is all about connection and enjoyment. Don’t forget to bring your own water, as there will be limited availability on-site. Additionally, donations are highly encouraged, and thanks to the matching program from Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, your contributions will have an even greater impact. Spectators welcome!Location: Between Friends Camp Bonaventure - Sandy Beach, 1215 50 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2T 2V8Time: Arrive at 10:00. Group warm up at 10:45. Get active at 11:00!Course: To be confirmedWhat to wear/bring: Wear what makes you feel your best for exercising! Please note there is no potable water available at Camp Bonaventure, so please be sure to bring enough with you. There will be some bottled water available.Donations are encouraged and welcomed. Girls Who Like To Do ThingsWhile being brought to you by students, Girls Who Like To Do Things is open to everyone: student or not! If you are interested in our club and attending an event, you can officially consider yourself a Girl Who Likes To Do Things.

Girls Who Like To Do Things is an event-centered social club that aims to empower women by creating fun, supportive spaces to make friends and try new things!

From rock climbing to painting to movie nights (and everything in between), our mission is to foster community on campus and encourage women to explore their interests. With diverse activities, Girls Who Like To Do Things provides opportunities for members to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and form meaningful connections.

All women, femme, non-binary individuals, and those comfortable in women-led spaces are welcome to join us in celebrating the joy of trying new things!
