2026 Grand Falls Running event in collaboration with the Grand Falls Potato FestivalJune 28, 2026Race Day Participation:Come for the race and stay for the festival! The first year of the volunteer-only lead and organized 5km and 10km Grand Falls Running event is a professionally chip timed fun run/walk event. Enjoy a scenic route of rolling hills through Grand Falls. Starting at the Potato Festival grounds Bistro, up the traffic controlled street section to enjoy the fast and flat main section of the historical Trans Canada Trail overlooking the Saint John river. The 5km turnaround/water station at the foot of the old train track bridge to back track to the start/finish. The 10km route will continue onto past the 5km turnaround with signage, and up towards the McCain plant on the fast Trans Canada Trail, then turn around with a water station on the same route to the start/finish line. Celebrate your fun run/walk completion at the Bistro, and in time for the festival parade.
