Taking place in the picturesque Rocky View County, this spirited 5KM Colour Run/Walk kicks off at 9:30 AM, with the race beginning at 10:00 AM. Participants will enjoy a fun-filled morning traversing the scenic trails of Harmony, just adjacent to the Springbank airport.
Before the race, everyone will join in a lively group colour toss, setting the tone for a day brimming with joy and laughter. As you run or walk through the course, you'll encounter multiple colour stations where more bursts of color will be added to the festivities. The excitement doesn't end at the finish line, as a final group colour toss awaits all participants, ensuring that everyone leaves with a smile and a splash of color!
The event will be energized by a DJ and MC, with prizes awarded for categories such as best costume and best colour station. By participating in Hues for Humanity, you are not only enjoying a memorable day with family and friends but also contributing to vital educational support programs for at-risk children in developing nations. 5KM Colour Run or WalkThe Colour Run/Walk will take place the morning of Saturday, May 31st. You will walk or run approximately 5 KM on the trails of Harmony, a subdivision in Rocky View County, adjacent to the Springbank airport.Before going out on course there will be a group colour toss. Once on course you will pass through several colour stations where more colour will be tossed at you and after everyone is back to the finish area there will be one more group colour toss! Think lots and lots of colour and a whole bunch of very happy people!The DJ and the MC will keep things energized throughout the morning and prizes are awarded at the end of the event for best costume (individual, family, team and 4 legged friends) and there are lots of great door prizes as well. Participants also get to vote on the best colour station too! Hues for Humanity is a fun way to support Real Humanitarian’s educational support programs for at-risk children in developing nations, while enjoying time with family and friends. By participating in the Hues for Humanity walk/run in Calgary you will become an integral part of helping these children build their lives.100% of the profits earned from Hues for Humanity events are used to support Real Humanitarian’s education, health and empowerment initiatives around the world.
