Beginning just south of Kensington, the course heads south along the well-maintained crushed stone trail, with 95% of the route on a smooth, unpaved surface that's easy on the legs and ideal for runners seeking a comfortable, natural running experience. Gentle curves and long straightaways allow runners to settle into a steady rhythm while taking in panoramic views. The course is predominantly flat with gradual rolling sections, making it an excellent opportunity for first-time half marathoners chasing a personal milestone, as well as experienced runners looking to set a personal best!
