For a seamless experience, jet boat shuttle services from Halifax and Dartmouth waterfront will be available at discounted rates, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun. The course is designed to be approachable for runners of all skill levels, and we encourage everyone to embrace our commitment to sustainability by bringing their own drinking containers for the aid stations. With onsite medical support from Halifax Search & Rescue Medical teams and dedicated trail stewards to guide you, you can focus on enjoying the race.

Our second race in our 2026 series. Urban Trail Racing is crossing the 'seas' to run Half Marathon Trail Race on McNabs Island! Join us on this island as we race by stone walls of Fort McNabs, past the iconic lighthouse, and along the beach with amazing views of the city.
Race Details:Jet Boat shuttle services from Halifax and Dartmouth waterfront will be provided by our friends at Sea HFX - at discounted rates! Now included as an option in the registration! Similar route to last year is approachable for varied skill levels.We are upping our leave no trace approach by asking all participants to bring drinking containers with them for the aid stations. Onsite medical support will be provided by Halifax Search & Rescue Medical teams.Trail stewards will be onsite to help with directions and our aid stations.Post race social will be on the island with goodies, prizes, and BBQ.We are continuing our tradition of signature coasters too.As with all of our races we will be supporting Halifax Search & Rescue and the local Friends of McNabs Island through donations.
