Participants will race on a scenic 1km loop, with varying distances for different age groups: ages 10-14 will tackle 3km, ages 8-9 will run 2km, ages 6-7 will also complete 2km, and the youngest runners, ages 5 and under, will finish a fun 1km lap.
Each child will be rewarded with a shiny medal, a scrumptious cinnamon bun, and, of course, a steaming cup of hot chocolate upon crossing the finish line. Remember to bring a mug for that delightful hot chocolate! The event kicks off at 3:00 PM, so arrive early to soak up the cheerful atmosphere and get ready to cheer on your little ones as they dash through the park. Organiser's Description
The Mochas and Marshmallows is a fun run for kids under the age of 14. Each participant will receive a medal, hot chocolate and treat after they cross the finish line. The route is 1km loop (500m out and 500m back along grass/pathway). 3:00pm Ages 10 - 14 will run 3km = 3 laps3:30pm Ages 8 - 9 will run 2km = 2 laps4:00pm Ages 6 - 7 will run 2km = 2 laps4:30pm Ages 5 and under will run 1km = 1 lap
All kids must run in their own age category - no exceptions. This event is NOT timed.All children will receive a medal, cinnamon bun and a hot chocolate.Ages 9 and under may run with an adult.
RACE DAY:1. Please ensure race bibs are worn ON THE FRONT of your child so we can easily identity them, and they will need them to collect their medal, hot chocolate and treat.
2. Please bring a mug for your child's hot chocolate.
3. Please arrive on-site at least 20 minutes before your race.

4. Please note, we cannot have any children not registered running on course with siblings.
