Participants can choose from various distance options, including a challenging 35 km or 45 km route that takes you from Capra Running Co onto the Coho Trail and follows the iconic 50-mile course, featuring the Galactic Scheisse trail.
With a friendly atmosphere, this run invites you to bring friends or meet new ones as you tackle the scenic trails. Each participant will benefit from a light aid station, generously provided by Nesters Market and Näak, offering refreshments like energy gels, drinks, water, and snacks to keep you energized. A $10 donation supports SORCA trail maintenance, with the option to contribute more if you wish. With a cap of 200 participants, make sure to register online before the deadline at 6 PM on June 20, 2026. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit in the breathtaking backdrop of Squamish!

Sunday June 21, 2026Our Orientation Runs are fun opportunities to prepare for your Squamish 50 weekend. Bring some friends or meet some new ones! We even have a ‘light’ aid station for each run courtesy of Nesters Market and Näak, with gel and energy drink mix, water, Coke, chips, cookies, bananas, and oranges. We check everyone in, and make sure you emerge from the wilderness safely at the end.As part of our ongoing support of SORCA, we charge a $10 donation for O-Runs, which goes 100% towards SORCA trail maintenance. The $10 donation is a minimum – feel free to donate more if you’re so inclined. It all goes to the trails!For this orientation run, you can create various distance options. You can choose to include (or not) the DeBeck's Hill loop, the 10km loop from the Corners aid station, or the Galactic experience, to customize your day and distance.Maximum of 200 participants. Not restricted to registered runners. Online registration will close at 6pm on June 20, 2026. Race morning sign up may be available if we're not sold out, but cash only.______________________________________________________________________________________O-Run #3 is 35 km or 45 km from Capra Running Co onto Coho Trail, following the 50 mile course, including Galactic Scheisse to Capilano University (formerly Quest) and back to Capra.
