Kids RaceThe Kids Race returns and remains FREE to participate. We welcome all kids to participate at our event; however, the age limit for the kids race is 11 years old. It’s not timed, is non-competitive and purely for the fun of all involved. The course will stay in the start/finish field with lots of cheer and support! For 2026 the Kids race will happen later than the 5km at 12:30pm, allowing for a full cheer section.
The new course will follow the winding path through the park, starting and finishing at the baseball field on the south side of the park. The course features less sidewalk, a switch to up and down the steep 6th St. hill, no double loop and a change of direction to make the course fresh the whole way!
Beer Run Race Series supports KidSport New West. They do a fantastic job at helping children participate in sports in our local community by providing grants to help cover the costs of registration fees for all kids aged 18 and under in New West to be able to play a season of sport.
