Join us for the Sadownik Miles for Smiles 1-24 Hour event on June 12, 2026, in the beautiful Fort St. John, Peace River! This unique fundraising event honors the memory of our dear friends Steve and Nicole Sadownik, and aims to support local residents undergoing chemotherapy by providing them with gift cards. The event kicks off at 8 PM on June 12 and runs for a full 24 hours, concluding at 8 PM on June 13. Participants can choose to complete one lap or take on the challenge of multiple laps, with each lap measuring 5 km and featuring around 100 meters of elevation gain. Enjoy the flexibility of running in the evening or during the day, and join us for the special memorial lap at 7 PM on June 13, as we come together to celebrate and support our community. Whether you're a seasoned ultra-runner or just looking to have fun for a great cause, this event promises an unforgettable experience!

Sadownik Miles for Smiles1 - 24 Hours EVENT!
This Event is a fundraiser for Gift Cards for our local residents receiving chemotherapy. This event is in memoriam of our late friends Steve and Nicole Sadownik. Steve once said the most horrible Ultra would be repeated loops of Fish creek. So here we are ! This event starts on June 12 at 8 pm and runs until June 13 at 8 pm. Come do 1 lap.....come do plus 24! Do as many as you like. This year's event, you can also come and do some evening laps and return and do some daytime laps. Attend anytime! We are here to have fun and support raising funds for our local chemo patients. The final lap starting at 7 pm on the 13th will be the memorial lap for all. LAPS ARE 5 KM EACH. Around 100 meters gain per lap.
