Style of route? Expect both routes to comprise approximately 30% gravel. Are the routes marked? Both routes will be sent in a GPX file to all riders the week before the event. This will allow turn by turn navigation when paired with a bike computer. Type of bike? Both road and gravel bikes are suitable, but tire choice will be more critical. Since the majority of the route is paved, a slick tire between 28c - 35c will be most efficient. On course support? Individuals and teams are expected to be mainly self-supported. Carry repair kits for flats. There will be one aid station on the course for fuel and hydration. Riders wanting specific items can have them transported to the aid station (drop off items for transport at check-in).
