Organiser's Description

For 2026 we are hosting a 20k preview of the Tall Shadows race course on Saturday October 24th. This year is not a competitive race! We'll head out group run style with leaders in three pace groups and no one left behind. In 2027 the full event will include 50, 20, 10 and 5km options.Following the run on Saturday, we'll gather for supper at the Trailhead Cafe (veggie options available). If you're bringing along kids or spectators the Cafe will have their regular menu available for purchase. After we eat we'll have a short presentation about the 2027 event, a Q&A and door prizes. There will be group camping available at Rankins starting on Friday to continue the fun and another 10k group run on Sunday morning (after everyone has had their coffee of course ;) Please note this is a pretty rustic campground with pit toilets only though we'll set up a hand washing station there. Bring your own water and snacks. And there may or may not be some delightful late season lake dipping happening as there is a lovely little beach located in the campground!
Please note that a Saskatchewan Provincial Park pass will be required to gain entry into the park. You can purchase them online beforehand or at the kiosk when entering the park.
