This exciting holiday-themed event invites participants of all ages and abilities to join in the fun with a variety of race distances: a 5km, 10km, or 15km Big Elf Run/Walk at 2 PM, and a delightful 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk at 1 PM.
As you race alongside hundreds of fellow elves, you'll enjoy a lively atmosphere complete with a DJ, an "elfie station," and fantastic prize giveaways. The scenic course starts at Lumberman's Arch, meandering through beautiful trails shaded by majestic oak trees and offering stunning views of Coal Harbour and Burrard Inlet. With mostly paved paths and gentle inclines, it's perfect for everyone, including families with strollers and furry friends—just make sure to start in the last wave for everyone's safety! Registration includes a customizable Elf Name Bib, a cozy Elf Toque, chip timing for the longer distances, and a unique wooden medal that doubles as a tree ornament. Come join us for the 11th annual Big Elf Run
on Saturday December 13th 2025.This holiday themed run offers a 5km/10km/15km Big Elf Run/Walk (2pm) as well as a 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk (1pm) around scenic Stanley Park.
Run with hundreds of elves, enjoy a DJ, “elfie station”, prize giveaways, vendors and more. The Big Elf Run tours picturesque Stanley Park. Starting at Lumberman's Arch, the course winds its way along trails surrounded by old oak trees before looping onto the seawall with hallmark views of Coal Harbour and the Burrard Inlet. With few inclines and mainly paved paths, everyone is assured a beautiful and stress-free run/walk. The route is for all ages and abilities. Pet & Stroller Friendly!**Pets and strollers must start in the last wave, to ensure the safety of other participants.
