Join us for the exciting Thornbury Turkey Trot on Saturday, October 10, 2026, set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Mountains in Grey! This family-friendly event offers a variety of race distances to suit all participants, including a challenging 21K Half Marathon, a scenic 10K Run/Walk, a fun 5K Run/Walk, and a delightful 1K Free Kid's Run.
Taking place at the Beaver Valley Community Centre, this festive Thanksgiving weekend run promises not only a great workout but also an abundance of fun for everyone involved. All participants will receive custom race swag, chip timing, and medals, along with the chance to win draw prizes from local businesses. Please make support arrangements thereafter. Cancelation policy: Cancelation policy: Sorry no cancellations or refunds due to weather or public health orders. There will be no deferrals or refunds as expenses have already be accrued. Transfers between distances or to another runners are allowed though the “transfer” link on our race roster page.
Weather Policy:
Safety always comes first and Athletics Ontario sets rules and policies that outline when an event must be delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather. In the case of inclement weather that forces our race directors to cancel an event, there will be no refunds. In the case of a weather cancellation, by that time a large portion of the race fee’s have already been allocated. Registered participants will still receive your swag bag. Thank you for understanding these policies.**Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE** due to pre-purchased race expenses!!BIBS can be TRANSFERRED to another participant for any distance until October 9 9am!
