Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Thornbury Turkey Trot 2026! On Saturday, October 10, 2026, join us in the stunning Blue Mountains, Grey, for a family-friendly Thanksgiving weekend run/walk that promises to be an unforgettable experience. Participants can choose from a variety of distances: a challenging 21K Half Marathon, a 10K Run/Walk, a 5K Run/Walk, or even a 1K Free Kid's Run that ensures everyone can get involved.
The event kicks off at the Beaver Valley Community Centre, located at 81 Victoria Street, Thornbury, right by the iconic water tower. Registration includes custom race swag, chip timing, medals, and exciting draw prizes from local businesses. Plus, enjoy a lively atmosphere with a DJ, free parking, indoor facilities, and delicious post-race food. Don't miss out on the chance to grab your swag bag—available to the first 700 runners! Families can also take advantage of a 15% discount when registering three to six participants together. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, friendly competition, and plenty of fun!

$100 Female/Male Half Marathon Overall Winners, $75 -10Km, $75 - 5KmOverall top 3 race winners, top male and female runners in each age categoryAge Category Recognition: Male/Female-under 12; 12-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+Course Details: Maps and Elevation information can be found on the upper left menu of this pageHalf Marathon is supported for 3 hours. Please make support arrangements thereafter. Cancelation policy: Cancelation policy: Sorry no cancellations or refunds due to weather or public health orders. There will be no deferrals or refunds as expenses have already be accrued. Transfers between distances or to another runners are allowed though the “transfer” link on our race roster page.
Weather Policy:
Safety always comes first and Athletics Ontario sets rules and policies that outline when an event must be delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather. In the case of inclement weather that forces our race directors to cancel an event, there will be no refunds. In the case of a weather cancellation, by that time a large portion of the race fee’s have already been allocated. Registered participants will still receive your swag bag. Thank you for understanding these policies.**Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE** due to pre-purchased race expenses!!BIBS can be TRANSFERRED to another participant for any distance until October 9 9am!
