Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Trash Dash Fun Run 2025, taking place on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, in the beautiful Oro-Medonte, Simcoe. This exciting event invites participants of all ages to join the movement for a cleaner, greener Barrie, offering a variety of race distances including 1KM, 5KM, and 10KM. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Midhurst Forest Tract, runners and walkers will traverse picturesque trails along the river, conquer hills, and even pass under a train trestle!
As an added bonus, the first 150 registrants for the 5KM and 10KM races will receive a FREE pair of custom Trash Dash socks! Every participant will also be awarded a medal and racing bib upon registration. Plus, you’ll have the chance to win fantastic prizes by cleaning up litter in your neighborhood before race day. Simply snap a photo of your efforts and share it on social media to earn entries toward exciting giveaways, including a brand new Napoleon BBQ! With our 1KM/5KM/10KM options, the challenging but picturesque trails at the Midhurst Forest Tract takes you along the river, over hills and even under a train trestle! NEW THIS YEAR! The first 150 registrants (5KM and 10KM) will receive a FREE pair of custom Trash Dash socks. All participants will receive a medal and racing bib as part of the registration.Want a chance to win great prizes?! The Trash Dash encourages participants to clean up litter prior to race day. All you have to do is grab a bag and upload a picture of litter you cleaned up in your neighbourhood. Post it to this event or to our Facebook page.
