Triple Crown Ultra

The Triple Crown is a point-to-point ultra marathon that links three of Vancouver’s most iconic mountains into a single, continuous effort.The course begins at the base of Mount Seymour, where runners complete a full ascent and descent in the trails before heading west. From there, the route follows sections of the historic Baden Powell Trail, linking forested trails and neighbourhood connectors across the North Shore.The second ascent takes runners up Grouse Mountain, taking the iconic grouse grind that rewards grit with expansive views over the city and the Burrard Inlet. After descending down the BCMC, the course continues west once again, carrying runners across forested ridgelines toward the final challenge.The day culminates on Cypress Mountain, where participants complete one last climb and descent in the trails to finish the Triple Crown — three mountains, one continuous route, no shortcuts.At roughly 57km and 3,500m elevation gain, the Triple Crown is designed for runners driven by a simple goal: to conquer Vancouver’s three legendary mountain summits in one day. Each climb stands on its own, but the true challenge lies in linking all three into a single, uninterrupted journey across the North Shore.
