This exciting event invites teams and individuals to walk a scenic 2 kilometers at Glacier View Lodge or participate virtually from their own favorite locations. The walk begins at 1 PM and will not only promote health and well-being but also raise funds for vital music therapy programs that bring joy to our cherished elders.
This year, participants will have the unique opportunity to explore the stunning Mountain View Garden and the enchanting Secret Garden at Glacier View Lodge, enhancing the experience with nature's beauty. After the walk, enjoy browsing through an array of homemade crafts and delicious baked goods while being serenaded by the talented local artist, Sherri Smith. Whether you're walking, relaxing, or simply soaking in the spectacular views of the Comox Glacier and surrounding mountains, everyone is welcome to join in the fun and support an incredible cause. New this year is an opportunity to tour and enjoy the Mountain View Garden and the Secret Garden two of GVL's amazing gardens.We walk to raise funds for music therapy, bringing joy to our elders. While walking the Glacier View Lodge property, you will view and imagine the potential for seniors housing in the Comox ValleyThe walk starts at 1 PM at Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Road, Courtenay. Please allow time for parking and sign in. Parking details are on the Course Map found on the left sidebar of this page.Everyone is welcome to attend, to walk or simply relax and enjoy the view of the Comox Glacier and mountains. So residents’ families, Society members, friends of GVL and business supporters we hope to see you all!After the garden tour/walk, we will have an opportunity to browse and purchase baked goods, a variety of hand made crafts while being entertained by Sherri Smith, a local guitar playing, singer with an amazing voice. Enjoy the music with light refreshments. Throughout its extensive history, Glacier View Lodge has always maintained a close relationship not only with the residents it cares for, but also the entire Comox Valley.
