Welcome to the 42nd Annual YMCA River Run! The YMCA of Southeastern Alberta is proud to offer the 42nd Anniversary River Run, presented by Cancarb, to our community. This annual charity River Run has proudly supported our local YMCA programs and services for 42 years, which includes the YMCA Connect Campaign.Bring your family, friends, walk, jog, run – the River Run is open to all people, of all ages and all abilities.Register as an individual, group or family! Come out and support a great cause, improve your mental health and explore the trails, pathways, and nature!Registration Deadline: June 17th (8:00pm)

Donations Welcome!At the YMCA of Southeastern Alberta, we envision a better future for everyone. Given the current economic challenges in Alberta and Medicine Hat, many people are struggling with less family time, limited opportunities for healthy activities, and decreased community connection.The Y is committed to changing this. Our family programs, childcare services, and fitness memberships are designed to help children and families thrive. We promote healthy living and ensure no one is turned away due to financial difficulties. We also provide leadership training for youth to aid in employment and foster community connections for seniors. The YMCA's Strong Kids program guarantees equitable access to our services, regardless of financial situation.From summer camps and youth leadership programs to swimming lessons and senior memberships, the YMCA offers diverse programs that enhance physical, mental, and social well-being.However, not everyone can afford these programs. The Strong Kids Campaign addresses this need by raising funds to eliminate financial barriers. Donations are accepted year-round, with charitable tax receipts provided for contributions of $20 and up. Your support will help ensure that everyone can reach their full potential and contribute to a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive community.
