This annual event invites participants to hike together at the Stratford Perth Museum or choose to hike in their own favorite locations, whether that's at a family cottage, workplace, or neighborhood. Hike for Hospice is not just about the walk; it’s an opportunity to enjoy a day filled with community spirit, featuring a BBQ lunch, live music, games, and a chance to reflect on the importance of hospice care.
The day kicks off at 10:30 AM with exciting pre-hike activities, followed by a formal greeting and a moment of reflection at 11:00 AM. At 11:15 AM, everyone will step out together for the hike, after which participants can enjoy delicious food and fun activities. Plus, this year, you can purchase exclusive Hike for Hospice merchandise like t-shirts and socks to commemorate your experience! With a fundraising goal of $350 to support one day of care for a resident room, every step you take will make a difference in the lives of those who call Rotary Hospice home. Join us at the Stratford Perth Museum on Sunday, June 14th or choose to Hike on your Site - whether that be at a family cottage, at your workplace or in your neighbourhood - as part of this year's annual Hike for Hospice!Back by Popular Demand - Hike for Hospice T-Shirts & Socks! Hike for Hospice t-shirts return this year, and will be available for purchase in advance only for $25. A limited number of custom Hike for Hospice socks are also available for purchase. Please know, however, and whenever you choose to take your steps, your actions will have an impact on all those who will call Rotary Hospice home. There is no cost for an individual to stay at Rotary Hospice; however, there is a cost to operate our hospice home. Rotary Hospice must fundraise $350 per day, per room. Thank you for caring! Hike for Hospice donations will be accepted up until Tuesday, June 30th, at 11:59 PM!
