Organiser's Description

Please join us on Saturday, June 6th to celebrate, remember, and fundraise. In April 2024, Morris was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Morris was a true believer in living life to the fullest. Despite his diagnosis, he continued to embrace that mindsetβ€”spending meaningful time with family and friends, and doing what he loved most.He was deeply grateful for the exceptional care he received at the Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook Hospital. In his honour, we are riding to give back. Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Program is one of the largest and most comprehensive in North America, with clinical trials that are advancing new treatments to improve outcomes for patients and their families.Through the UNITED trials, Dr. Arjun Sahgal and his team are pioneering more precise, targeted radiation approaches for glioblastomaβ€”adapting treatment in real time as tumours change. This innovation helps spare healthy tissue, reduce side effects, and support a better quality of life for our patients. With your support, we can continue to shape the future of brain cancer care.
