Join us for the Run for Brain Cancer 4K, a community run/walk through Sunnybrook Park in support of Sunnybrook Foundationβs Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.
The event was created in memory of Sheila Rizzuto, who passed away from glioblastoma. Our goal is to bring friends, families, and the community together for a meaningful morning while raising awareness and funds for brain cancer research. We are aiming to raise $25,000 in support of the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research and the important work being done at Sunnybrook.
Whether youβre running, walking, or simply coming out to support the cause, everyone is welcome. The 4 km course is designed for participants of all abilities, with volunteers, hydration, and support available throughout the event.
In lieu of a registration fee, we kindly ask each participant to consider making a $30 donation to support the cause.
