Join us for the exciting Summer Sunset Series in Hamilton on Thursday, August 27th, 2026! This vibrant event invites runners of all ages to experience the thrill of running along the stunning Hamilton Waterfront trail. With a fast and flat 5K course, participants can challenge themselves and achieve a chip-timed finish. In addition to the 5K, there’s a fantastic 1K Kids Run designed to encourage young runners, where all finishers will receive a medal to celebrate their achievement.
The Summer Sunset Series promises a fun and engaging atmosphere with onsite registration starting at 5:30 PM. Kids will kick off the festivities at 6:30 PM, followed by the main 5K event starting at 7:00 PM. Runners can enjoy demo shoes from Mizuno, draw prizes for all participants, and post-race refreshments. We're Back Hamilton!The Runner's Den is excited to announce that we have once again partnered with Mizuno to bring you back the Summer Sunset Series!A fun way to stay fit this summer with a fast and flat course along Hamiltons Waterfront trail! This will be a timed event to allow runners to get a chip time for their 5K run. In an effort to keep the cost of this event low, there will be no shirt or medal provided for the 5K runners. Event includes:Ankle chip for timingDemo shoes on site to try for your eventDraw prizes for all participants courtesy of MizunoPost race refreshments for all participantsEvent Schedule: 5:30-7pm: Onsite registration/check-in6:30pm: 1K Kids START7:00pm: 5K START7:45pm: Post Race Draw prizesBack again this year - 1K Kids Run!Let's get our kids out to run this summer! This kids run will not be timed but medals will be provided to the kids who finish the race.
