Get ready for an exciting summer event as the Summer Sunset Series returns to Hamilton on Thursday, June 25th, 2026! This vibrant community gathering offers a fantastic opportunity to stay active while enjoying the beautiful waterfront trail. Participants can challenge themselves with a timed 5K run, featuring a fast and flat course designed for runners of all levels. While there won't be shirts or medals for 5K participants to keep costs low, each runner will receive a bib with an attached timing chip to track their performance.
But the fun doesn't stop there! The event also includes a 1K Kids Run, encouraging our younger generation to get moving this summer. Although this race won't be timed, every child who crosses the finish line will earn a medal for their efforts. Participants of all ages can enjoy demo shoes on site, delicious post-race refreshments, and exciting draw prizes courtesy of Mizuno. Don’t miss out on this uplifting day filled with health, fitness, and community spirit!

We're Back Hamilton!The Runner's Den is excited to announce that we have once again partnered with Mizuno to bring you back the Summer Sunset Series!A fun way to stay fit this summer with a fast and flat course along Hamiltons Waterfront trail! This will be a timed event to allow runners to get a chip time for their 5K run. In an effort to keep the cost of this event low, there will be no shirt or medal provided for the 5K runners. Event includes:Bib with attached chip for timingDemo shoes on site to try for your eventDraw prizes for all participants courtesy of MizunoPost race refreshments for all participantsBack again this year - 1K Kids Run!Let's get our kids out to run this summer! This kids run will not be timed but medals will be provided to the kids who finish the race.
