Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2025 Larry Nicholas 8.2K Trail Run, taking place on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, in the scenic Mission Creek Regional Park in Kelowna, Central Okanagan. This cherished event, held in memory of passionate athlete Larry Nicholas, marks the final race of the 2025 Interior Running Association's Trail Series. Participants will tackle a thrilling 8.2K course that consists of three loops through beautiful trails, making it a perfect blend of nature and competition.
The festivities kick off at 10 AM, with bib pick-up available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Families are invited to join the fun with a Kids Fun Run, featuring distances of approximately 2 Km and 1 Km, starting around 11:15 AM. Awards will be presented for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners in five-year increments. Remember, this is a cupless race, so be sure to bring your own water supply. With limited parking available, carpooling is highly encouraged. Join the Kelowna Running Club for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and a celebration

Larry Nicholas Memorial Trail RaceThe Larry Nicholas Memorial Trail Race has been a stalwart of the Kelowna Running Club and Interior Running Association race series for over 35 years.
Larry was an avid athlete with a love for running. This run is in memory of Larry who passed away while rock climbing in the mid-1980s. The Larry Nicholas Trail run is sponsored by the Kelowna Running Club. The run has always been supported by the Nicholas Family - Larry's parents, his brothers and sisters and their families.
The 8.2K Larry Nicholas Memorial Run is the last race of 2025's Interior Running Association's Trail Series. It is 3 loops in Mission Creek Park.This park is a wonderful retreat where you can transition from city to the trails in minutes.
Kids Fun Run at approximately 11:15 am.
